  • U9
    This program serves as an introduction to amateur wrestling. This program focussed on boys and girls that are aged from 5 to 8 years old. Through this programme wrestlers will learn the basic wrestling positions and techniques through various body awareness exercises, activities and games. The wrestlers will be evaluated once the coaches feels they are ready and will be able to earn different level and certificates. This is a 10 week programme which runs from October to December, January to March and April to June. At this level there is not a competition component (tournaments). The cost is $100 per session plus the Ontario Amateur Wrestling Association registration fee ($65 dollars once a year). Practices are at the Timmins Wrestling Club location, 120 Kent Avenue room 322 from 6:30 to 7:15, Monday and Thursdays
  • U13
    This program serves as a bridge between kids wrestling and high school wrestling. This program focussed on boys and girls that are aged 9 to 12 years old. Through this programme wrestlers will learn intermediate wrestling positions and techniques through various body awareness exercises, activities, drills and games. The wrestlers will be evaluated once the coaches feels they are ready and will be able to earn different level and certificates. This is a 10 week programme which runs from October to December, January to March and April to June. At this level there are wrestling tournaments available to the wrestlers but the cost will very based on the location of the tournament.   • U18
    This program is intended to teach intermediate to advance wrestling necessary for high school competition. This program focussed on boys and girls that are 13 to 18 years old. Through this programme wrestlers will learn intermediate/advance wrestling positions and techniques through various body awareness, exercises, activities, drills and games. This programme run from September to June. At this level there are wrestling tournaments available to the wrestlers but the cost will very based on the location of the tournament. The cost is $65 to cover the Ontario Amateur Wrestling Association insurance fee. Practices are Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 7 to 9 at the Timmins Wrestling Club location, 120 Kent Avenue room 322.
